First attempt to make an epoxy plate, epoxy casting is quite OK
But my wood parts are not the same height...
I aligned my epoxy casting with the smaller wood part (on the right)
How can I get rid of this overage?

Flip it over and put some feet on it for stability.

You can try to seal it, but it could still change dimensionally from heat/humidity differently from the epoxy and separate

Is it a wall hanger? If so, does it matter?

Oh, yeah, take it to a cabinet maker and have them put it on a planer

you could take a belt sander to it before using an orbital sander to go through the fine grits

yep just grab a 40 grit belt and grind it to shape

With a manual planer? Electric planer? I don't have a big budget and no tool at all, I'm buying it overtime, what do you advise?

I am not ever on a big budget. I think in the time it takes you to plane it by hand including tool cost and time, you could probably 1/2

contact a local woodworker, put word out at a makerspace, or re-do it right the first time (up to you though, just my .02) 2/2

Yeah, look for a place with an electric planer or a jointer.

shouldnt be a problem if they are familiar, youre only taking off wood potentially and a slight amount of resin, they will advise if good
