That's what's so interesting about the British accent. An expert can narrow down the region and the various influences to an amazing degree, and even have accurate guesses about when a person moved from one area to another.
It's been used to track down criminals who police have a voice sample of (from phone calls ect).
It's said that you can't open your mouth in Britain without giving someone your life history, and I'm sure that's not a snide remark about teeth.

I do too, problem is, people don't say where they're from, usually! I wish there was a subtitle setting that would add dialect info. I want to improve my pronunciation at some point but would need to pick a target ...
