Brushie the Crocie

Humans differ from other animals primarily in that we can give other animals scritchies. I believe that's one reason cats put up with us.

Um ackshually crocodillians aren't directly related to dinosaurs. They're archosaurs yes but they evolved separately from dinosaurs. They are closely related tho, but they're not and were never dinosaurs.
What? Yes I AM fun at parties. Why do you ask?
Why are you brandishing a pitchfork at me? Yes I can see where the door is.

I know how dangerous gators are but god if only there was a way to tame one like pokemon

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've seen them crusty buggers eat feet before. I would definitely be wearing boots, with un-twistable ankles.

Now hiring, must be able to handle stressful situations

Nice of her to get it all dapper before it has a ham or two... hopefully the leggings dont get caught in its teeth.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like how there is an equally big one just in the back watching this. Very trusting of her, they must take really good care of them.

Not even shoes, too.

Just waiting its turn

You never bite the scratcher before you take your turn being scratched

Make sure predators are fully fed, and you can ensure a certain level of safety

Always provide the spa treatment after lunch.

Ive seen too many videos. Even bred in captivity alligators i would never trust. I dont think they pack bond like that, I've seen them badly bite handlers from what looks like reflexive reactionary bites. Its just in them. They say us humans still have lizard brain reactions right?

The "trust" in an alligator is always circumstantial. They do not pack bond, they can't truly be tamed.

Do not approach an alligator that is submerged in water, do not fall to the ground near an alligator, do not approach an alligator that has not been fed in the last few days, do not approach an alligator without a pole or similar object in hand, never put any part of your body that you want to keep in the open mouth of an alligator.

Watch how they protect their young. They will come to the rescue if ANY baby gators put out a distress call not just their own. They also often live in colonies. Gators are far more social than people give them credit for.

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Correct, never trust a gator. They do not think like us. They run almost entirely on instinct and very specific trigger responses.

4 weeks ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

That doesn't mean you can't technically LOOK like you have a social bond with one. The reality behind it though is manipulating them.
