My mom once shut my dogs tail in the door by accident. It is now permanently crooked at the end.

My dog used to wag her tail so vigorously that she broke it against tables and walls. We had to pad anything with corners.

It may be broken, nothing the vet can do about it. If it isn't causing any pain I wouldn't worry about it.

He's not reacted at all to it, it's been like this all day and I'm taking him to the vet. He's acted as normal except for the tail being 1/2

like it is so IDK. He hasn't whined at all or seemed in pain or else I would take him sooner.

Yea, it's been a pretty normal day for him, no real pain. I just wanted to check if anyone had this happen to their dog too. he' a (1/2)

if his tail was broken, you would KNOW. My lab broke his tail. SCREAMED all night till we could get him to a vet. This is just a sprain.
