I think Ghislaine Maxwell and Jean-Luc Brunel were arrested prior to him.
Fun fact: Jean-Luc decided to hang himself in his cell.
Both were 'Epstein associates' and arrested in that capacity. (Epstein also had a massive number of 'associates', surely of whom not everybody was in to his crimes.)

I can find headlines stating he is charged, I can find headlines stating he is being investigated, but I fail to find headlines stating he has actually been arrested (which would be pretty darn premature anyways, considering all the due process and court cases that would be involved first).

Not sure how it is in Norway, but in the US, if you are charged, you can be arrested. Once arrested, you may be released on bond or await a hearing.

Oh, right, as in "held impending trial", not "put into prison after receiving a sentence". I see what you mean. But still, I think I would see headlines in mainstream Norwegian media outlets if Jagland were to be physically apprehended. I have seen none yet. I don't particulary think they fear him being a flight risk, nor at risk of destroying any kind of evidence, so presumably there is no reason to hold him.

Diplomatic Immunity, whether it granted by a state or, as in this case, an international body, is not a shield to start a criminal enterprise. It is there to ensure people in position of power is not persecuted. An in this case it worked as intended. Norway requested the immunity was revoked, provided the details and the CoE revoked it.

We already arrested both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. We have also tried and convicted GM and she is serving a 20 year sentence in prison. We are royally mishandling this whole thing, won’t deny that, but we aren’t last.
