Unexpected. Which is why I was filming it. Because it was Unexpected.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not unexpected of you played FO4

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh shit I better get closer or else my video won't go viral!

7 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 2

Well it worked, didn't it?

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Everyone else is driving as far left of the car as possible, and as fast as possible. Let me go the opposite way, and slow down.

7 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

LOL, filming while driving just for internet points, probably started filming when they first saw the smoke.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This takes me back to the middle east

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

From a fire fighter that was just at a bad crash, put your FUCKING PHONE DOWN and drive! Lady almost hit a mom and kid taking a pic

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I won't say he necessarily deserved it, but it should be common sense not to drive around cars on fire....

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Russia.

Lada

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lada, btw, means "barn" in Swedish.

"Look at this asshole just stopped in the *BOOOOOM!* ...ah shit, scared me... middle of the fucking road, gotta go around his sorry ass."

7 years ago | Likes 124 Dislikes 5

Guess I’ll just drive up to the burning car

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Broke the windshield.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Insurance Adjuster: tell me how you go the crack in the windshield. Me: You know, it's a funny story ...

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cursed little Ladas shouldn't go that close to churches.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

DEFINITELY drive toward the burning car while filming. That's the safest thing you coulda done here.

7 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

Seriously. Interesting clip, no doubt, but the person filming it is a stupid shit who doesn't belong behind the wheel of a vehicle.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Indeed. At least the car fire isn't going anywhere. This person is a rolling potential danger.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Gasoline car fire, nobody bats an eye. Electric car fire and everyone just LOSES their MINDS!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it's far more dangerous, the flames burst suddenly and for no apparent reason, they burn fast and hare very hard to extinguish.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And you forgot to mention - don't throw water on them. Just makes it worse.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah. Gasoline fires are a *bitch* to put out.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is not to expect? Fire,+ Fuel under pressure = explosion

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Car fuel tanks are not under pressure.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But LPG tanks are. Apart from hollywood cars don't tend to explode

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes? So it's unexpected. Contrary to what the person I'm replying to believes.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No one expects the unexpected - you are correct

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heat + liquid = pressure. When the tank ruptures, you suddenly have a huge volume of flammable vapor escaping. It's called a BLEVE.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unless it's vented, like *safe* gas tanks (as opposed to this one). No, burning cars do not normally explode.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 587 Dislikes 3

Forget that mate the whole car was on fire

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And his arsehole puckered tight enough that not even Antman could penetrate....

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And his sphincter temporarily double.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well he is driving a Mercedes which replacing windshield would cost the same as the car

7 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

I wonder if insurance will deny covering replacing the windshield due to driver being an idiot who drove closer to a burning car

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And filmed it and put it on the internet.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, well that's common. https://www.reddit.com/r/Roadcam for one source

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If a burning car exploding is “unexpected” to you, you need to adjust your expectations.

7 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

Um, cars don’t normally explode outside of movies. This one probably was carrying something in the back that was pressurized.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Like a gas tank? Ya probably. Musta been a movie car.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

some cars do have gas tanks, but they are just a fraction of the whole.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gas tanks don’t explode, except for a few that are very poorly designed.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who knew? A burning car exploding, unimaginable

7 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 4

Cars don't normally explode like they do in the movies.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i mean, yeah it kinda is. Ive been to dozens of car fires and the worst thing is the tires popping and the Mg in the engine blocks

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Gas tanks are vented so they don't build up pressure and explode in a BLEVE, so this is uncommon. More has to go wrong than just a fire.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Most just burn down. Old trabants and Ladas (like this one) were notorious for actually being able to explode

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Actually is. Had a car of mine burn down, full tank of gas (just filled it up). Crazy flames. Tonnes of smoke. Zero explosions.

7 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

and you're saying that during that whole time you did not once imagine the gas tank might explode.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

*lol* we were hoping it would! Took hours for the fire Department to show up. First responders , police, and us watched from a distance.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

None of us had ever seen anything quite like that. It sort of... Crumpled. You cpuls tell when the gas tank went for sure. Cap blew open.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Flames maybe 6 feet shot out, then the flames got bigger. Like from maybe 12' to 25'. The windows popped. Ao did the tires.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So it is in fact imaginable then, right?

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

In an "I saw it on t.v. so it must be normal" kind of way I guess.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I can imagine a threesome with Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Olsen, but I am sure the likelihood of it happening are quite low

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Let me just drive next to this burning car so that I can be the fucking idiot that I am and possibly die.

Without dummies like this the internet would be very boring

Everything is fine - it's OK - it will burn its self out, right?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And there I was thinking this only happens in movies.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish his car caught fire

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Yeah. He deserved that crack in his window. He's one of those fucks cluttering the road up whenever there's an accident

7 years ago | Likes 153 Dislikes 3

I mean, places to go, man.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

While also using his phone to record it.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's Russian. It's to be expected.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

To be fair, it was an assassination attempt on the vid taker. Seconds earlier, people hid a bomb in a body.

7 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

I had to watch this several times - I thought the guy in flourescent green was pushing a jack - suspiciously shaped like a person

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ah yes, the proven tactic of jacking out a fire, always works with enough men present

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

To be fair there was no graphyte on the road

7 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 7

You didn't see it because it's NOT THERE!

7 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

His passenger was probably saying it's fine and he's been driving for 25 years
