If it's a state court, a presidential pardon doesn't do anything. President can only pardon federal courts, not state ones. Only a governor can do that. So if the state of California is prosecuting him Trump's pardon doesn't apply

Bars? No, terrorists who overturn our democratic society need to be killed. They did this because they thought they were safe. That we wouldn't do anything and that Trump would pardon them - which he did. We let Nazis think they're safe and nothing REALLY bad will happen to them due to our desire not to be overly chaotic and violent.

States generally can't arrest or try people for crimes committed outside of their state. Since these crimes occurred in DC, a federal district they are subject to DC courts and were pardoned.
