Like any industry, the porn industry can take advantage of workers. Lying about it doesn't help anyone, if anything, it makes harder for people to believe when workers ARE actually abused and taken advantage of.

But the lie arguably was revealed, and people aware of that have no reason to believe her, and could unfortunately be less likely to believe others. It would have been best for everyone if she just said "I agreed to perform, but I didn't like it, so I decided to move on." She would still be able to profit from her fame without being as criticized, porn companies would face less unwarranted criticism, and real victims wouldn't face as much doubt in their stories.

Nothing on that page is really "proof." It's pretty much all, "Myth: she said. Fact: but we say…" And some of the "facts" she actually talks about in the videos that are linked right on the same page. Their "fact" is just "no she wasn't forced to sign it." There's no evidence or even argument presented; that's not "proof." And again, in the video linked on their own page, she explains, "I wasn't 'forced' but I was given the contract on the spot, and strongly pressured by four big guys to sign it RIGHT NOW." That's coersion; legally, that absolutely counts as "forcing" someone into contract. Bang Bros is clearly trying to smear her, but their own "proof" actually supports her claims. (2/2)

Their vids on that page show her contradicting herself, or actual proof that she was lying. Lets say the story about 4 big guys is true: that still means she can refuse to perform, and any injury she received for doing so would have been obvious if she was forced, and could immediately call the police and say she was effectively forced into sex trafficking. Her story clearly doesn't hold up, she wants to move on from porn, which is fine, but she wants to profit off a fake victimization

Labourers can be put in dangerous positions by management anywhere. How often are they being paid hundred of thousands of dollars a year or more for it? They're are serious problems in work in general, women wouldn't be repeat performers in porn unless they felt it was worth the money.

Yeah.... consent is the problem though. There is so much coercion going on behind the scenes. They fly you out, promise certain scenes, certain kinds of work, your plane lands, suddenly they've altered the deal and the it's not even close to what you signed up for. Either you do some really nasty, violent stuff or you get no pay and no return flight. Or worse, they don't even ask. They just go for it and trample you and your boundaries. I'm amazed people like Ryan Madison aren't in prison.

Your speaking about this like it happens most of the time. Women deciding to continue performing would suggest for most of them, that wasn't the case, they were able decide for themselves what they were willing to do for what amount of pay. Its very rare that they're 1st instance of sex work is from the flight, most of them have made money doing solo stuff or amateur stuff on their own before having to fly anywhere.
