Reminds me of my GTX480 card. Stock cooler sounded just like that, and it still hit 90°C too frequently.

Evo 212 is a great fan, just watch your temps under load to make sure it's enough. Intel has admitted that the Kaby Lake series runs hot. 1)

But if you aren't overclocking, then I would say you are good to go. My 7700k OC'D to 5.1 needed more, but I pulled it back to 4.5. 2)

The 212 Evo is a solid CPU cooler. At some point, you might want to look into AIO coolers. Super easy installation and great performance.
