Well some cases are made completely out of plastic so I'm not sure if thats an issue for todays computers or if it was ever to honest.

3 SSDs in RAID0 ... what read/write speeds are you getting? and what are you doing that needs that much speed??

video production and 3d modeling. every bit helps not to bottle neck the rest. Everyone is worried about Raid 0 not so much a worry with SSD

Raid 0 was an issue with mech drives. motors get tired, dropped or just failed. SSDs have for the most part removed this fear for me.
