I've been a huge fan of the show since its inception in 2011. After waiting nearly 2 years for the final season and the long night, i have to say I'm disappointed. Actually, tilted is a better word for it.

After the first 2 episodes of season 8 were mostly spent building the suspension for the upcoming battle and bringing the storylines back together, I patiently waited and endured the seemingly useless conversations amongst characters.

The long night was depressing. I'm sure you all read the reviews online already. It was too dark, Jon snow was useless in the battle, bad strategic decisions and where did Arya come from to kill the night king? I can keep ranting on, but I'll save you the read.

Episode 4, did they really forget to remove that Starbucks cup? That's all I say about that one, even though I have far more emotions to share on the illogical character reactions, fast travel and storyline.

I truly hope this won't end as badly as Dexter.

I totally agree mate! The episodes feel unnecessarily stretched. And so many questions are unanswered even now!

I just don't understand why they felt the need to show main characters on the front line and also in unwinnable situations multiple times

And let then all survive after that...

Just cut away from them in certain death situations, then cut back and they're all good only to get swarmed again. Wtf...

Oh God no. You can't beat Dexter's garbage ending.

Difference between TV writers that have $1000000s and multiple inputs and a single writer that can do what he wants without much consequence

The build up seems to be heading that direction :/

I'm holding judgement. My honest thought is that there should have been two short seasons of 6. One for the long night build up and then end

Were these long ass winters a product of the Night King? With him dead is it over? Or is winter still coming?

I'm not sure, but it Def seemed so with the dragon battle in ep3.

The show has gotten progressively worse since the 4th season, Tyrion’s trial was the high point for me. Since GRRM left it has been weak

His next book will be his best seller, as all the disappointed show fans will read it for an alternitave ending

Probably lol if he finishes it. If he does before it’s done I hope Brandon Sanderson can finish it

Two words - it's fiction.

They have turned their back on so many manys of great character development. Bronn wouldnt act like that, jaime did a 180. Bullshit.

Let's build dany up for all these seasons then all of a sudden shes mad. Jon is suddenly useless, the dragons are useless. Ugh

All hail His Grace, Tyrion of House Lannister, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, ...(1/2)

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

... Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm. (2/2)

I hope he will sit on the throne, but there seems to be a lack of creativity at the shows writers

IMO, everything is moving into a catastrophic mutual destruction act, and he’s going to be the only relevant survivor. He deserves it.

Why didn't Danny see the. Euron fleet at 5000ft? Why didn't she kill sansa before she left?

Sadly, the producers are giving us more questions than awnsers

Or at least Bran should have seen their plan and warned everyone.

Why did it take her 3 minutes to decide what to do after the first dragon got hit

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Are we not gonna get any info on brans effects on the past? I think that’s pretty important!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also why didn’t cersei just shoot the scorpions at danys tiny army at the end and just finish everything

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think Cersei wants Dany to burn half the city so when she *wins* she'll be considered the hero and cement her power among the people.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry but that's dumb and out of character for her. Why does she care what the people think? She literally blew up hundreds of them

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly, she doesn't care if they die but the High Sparrow showed how important it is to have them on your side.
