Yeah. Awesome take. Treated it as way more like a zombie virus outbreak, but worse, because the "zombies" here were intelligent and plotting. Comics were also pretty excellent. Those went a little nuttier since they introduced this idea of a global conspiracy and a shadow government of vampires keeping all of this secret.

Most vampires are either too "creature-ish" or too concerned with the living for my taste. Those are just right. They don't give a fuck about us other than hunting us, they are aware how superior they are, and from their pov it almost looks like they're on some kind of totally fucked up family vacation, like a hunting trip gone wrong <3. Will have to find and check out the comics, almost sounds like they did the framework for Dark Days/30 Days II?
