Ready for the down votes: You get it - I vape.
I don't post about it here because of the sheer downvote freight-training that happens on these posts, but I know they're usually for very good reason. All "vaping" posts that pop up are people posting their gear (honestly, non-vapers don't care what you bought) and vape tricks.
For me, it might actually preserve my life long enough for me to see my daughter grow up, which is infinitely more exciting. Being overweight and having sleep apnea, smoking was exponentially degrading my health and I needed to take drastic action. I'd tried patches, gum, cold turkey, Champix (stay the fuck away from that shit, boy) - even goddamn hypnotism tapes.
I became super enthusiastic about vaping after starting 6 months ago, as I was able to replace a debilitating, disgusting and expensive pack-a-day habit with an enthusiast hobby. I have fun building coils, mixing my own flavours and just vaping in general.
I have even been tracking how much money I've saved compared to smoking, which my wife is happy with. Happy wife, happy life, right?

Yeah, it's pretty savage. A documentary called A Billion Lives recently came out, but I haven't seen it yet. Apparently quite eye opening.

The biggest thing for me was full restoration of my lungs. I didn't know it wasn't normal for your lungs to hurt drawing a full breath.

Quit smoking after 17 yrs of a pack a day. Started vaping with 0mg nic for 2 years. Now i totally do not smoke nor vape. It actually helped.

Yes, I do. But no more public than smoking. Many areas of our city are smoke-free, and I don't vape there either.

Probably a heavier propoglycol content with a high nicotine concentration/some other low quality juice. Vapes are only as good as the mix.

I started vaping around 2010 when it was relatively new. Never touched a cig again, reduced vaping to a minimum. It prolly saved my life :)

I've gotten it down to 30 bucks a paycheck (15 days) compared to the nearly 90-100 of cigarettes. That's way better.
