Custom order Legend of Zelda: Link costume. Tunic top modified simplicity 5520 pattern.

The almost finished product. I'm still trying to decide how/if I want to add the leather "undershirt" to the bottom of it. The person I am making this for will be using their own belts for the outfit.

I will post the cap and pants later, I still need some measurements before I can finish them. But I was able to cut everything out.

I used a lightweight fabric for the tunic. This is for a two year old, so I didn't want it to heavy or hot. I like to keep the things I make clean, so I decided to make a lining for the tunic. I changed the neckline, sleeves, and bottom hem of the pattern for this.

The basic top is put together. Now to make all the fake cord strips for all the lacing effects.

Yes, I know the color looks different in every picture. My camera auto changed depending on how close I was to it. Anyway, the progress on the sleeve detail. All the lacing, and the fake leather for the undershirt effect.

Finishing the sleeves, and putting the detail around the neckline.

Putting the stitching detail on the bottom of the tunic.
