I don't think we import eggs but I could be wrong so really no direct effect but we probably import components and materials involved in processing so probably indirectly inflationary. Eggs are really an irrelevant benchmark, see what happens to the price of cars.

It doesn't, UNLESS the raw materials are bought in house (US made). The Tariffs are ment to incentivize buying locally as well as creating local jobs to meet the new demand. In a perfect world this will eventually lead to lower prices since there would be no international import costs, but this requires the companies that make goods to play ball.

Even in a perfect world it wouldn't make things cheaper. It does not make the internal market cheaper. In a (from maths perspective) perfect world makes the external market more expensive until it equaled the internal. At which point people would have no incentive to buy externally.
Not because internal got cheaper. But because external ceases to be cheaper.

Eggs are rarely imported/exported as chickens are about the easiest animal to handle and the product is fragile/expires. So most eggs are local or within country. A tariff would not affect the price at all. It would make it more expensive as demand goes up when people can't afford other imported products.
