Is this the same lady who hid them in the Ferraro Rochers?

The only reason I no longer assume "sprouts" with no modifier means bean is because of someone who uses it for alfalfa, so I was confused...

And the whole time, they're sprouting a magical friendship

After the Sprout Truce of 2020, hostilities have resumed with renewed viciousness.

James Acaster has exactly the same bit about cabbaging

I actually enjoy brussel sprouts, they’re great if cooked long enough, and served with melted cheddar.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't like them myself, but told my mum I would have some this year because she seemed sad to be the only one who would be eating them 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It seemed to cheer her up so I "enjoyed" them with my xmas lunch sat next to her at the table. A tiny sacrifice worth making in my eyes. 2/2

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Awww that is sweet and they are good for you too

Great. Now I have to explain to the office why I'm laughing my ass off without using the phrase "trumpeting beef whistle."

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Omg… so cleverly composed. Glorious.

Don't boil them. Cut them in halves, wash in water and vinegar. Coat in a bit'o olive oil, bake on a sheet at 450 for 30-45 mins till crisp

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Fuck that. Wash them, discard any damaged leaves, eat 'em raw!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is the way.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not disparaging their tastiness- I'm just saying that if I eat them my asshole turns into portal to a dimension of hot soupy shit stink.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Preparation method makes no difference in my considerable horrible experience. I fuckin' love brussel sprouts, to my family's dismay.
