It's when I'm playing this game at some random time of year that it worries me.

Before Canada day a fight broke out near my house and a gun was fired (no one hit) but it wasn't called in cause we all thought it was a fw

13 houses had bullet holes last year. Waiting for this year's count

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

13 referers to my neighborhood. Forgot to mention that

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chicago? Definitely gunshots.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lived in Detroit. There is a noticable difference between the two.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Same. Here from East Los Angeles

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's the same in west virginia

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Very much so

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha I just drove through "the hood" and at 5 in the morning it's an eerie kind of peacefulness.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Texas here. this literally describes the entire state, not just our hoods.

As a fellow chicagoan I appreciate your meme.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The 305. New Years/4th of July/ heat winning/rumors of Castro dying/Castro actually dying? Gunshots, with a side of banging pots and pans

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a European, I literally have no idea what a gunshot sounds like in real life. This seems super weird.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

As an Alaskan, not knowing what a gunshot sounds like is super weird.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

same

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I don't believe anything Hitler says. Especially that statement in that context.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When it goes off next door I can definitely tell the difference

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

yeah they echo differently

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

At close range (talking maybe 100ft) they are MUCH louder generally

Happy 4th from East LA. Legit just heard a drive by 2 hours ago. lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By my it's ALWAYS gunshots

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Definitely my life in South Phoenix. But when the ghetto birds come out you know.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No lie i heard a gunshot 5 min ago

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What's the body count in ChIraq since Friday? Isn't this their big weekend

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

So far this weekend 41 wounded 4 killed

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Isn't this year projected to break the record for homicides?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gunshots are crispy, Fireworks are boomy, Dandelions are wispy, and Chicago's crime rate is quite gloomy.

9 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 1

Ya thank god they didn't decide to throw the worst of Chicago into Dubuque... oh wait.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So fucking true dude

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was funny until last year when during fireworks there was a deadly shooting a half mile from where I watched fireworks.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that must have been really hard moving forward after that experience. I hope you are able to enjoy fireworks this holiday.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was a rough part of town. My friends remember me saying one crack was gunfire. Mom was a cop, so we spent a lot of time at the range.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can attest to this

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone in Chicago

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The hood? Bitch please, I live in bum-fuck nowhere upstate NY, and I guar-an-fuckin-tee you this is not a "hood" problem

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ticonderoga, only town in the US with a higher drug conviction rate than population.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Huh. Did not know that. That's even upstate-ey-er than me though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where ya from?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Capital district. Half an hour outside of Schenectady.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't come north. Unless you like meth then come on over I know a guy, or rather I know several guys and I'm sure at least one of them deals

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I live in Gary, Indiana. That's as hood as it can get. The fireworks probably won't let up until Thursday and even the banger stop shooting

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

after the third or fourth shot. Pop pop pop pop: probably a gun. Anything more is just some dipshit who blew a paycheck on bottle rockets.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're the type to set off a firearm instead of fireworks, aim down into soft ground, not into the air. What goes up must come down.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And what comes down lost almost all of its energy, and won't kill you.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

A) It will still sting like a bitch, (B only if you shoot it at a 90 degree angle, which only happens in physics vlass.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mythbusters proved otherwise. Found actual incidents/fatalities, and their own testing shows that its possible. Unlikely AF, but possible.

I'm just outside of New Orleans. I've heard at least one that was a gun. Thought about firing off my 7mm into the canal bank behind my house

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

That's what my friend is doing with his pistols. "Today is the one day where I'm able to shoot my my firearms on my own damn property."

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've thought about firing my 20mm into a pile of tannerite

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I grew up around west Metairie between Williams blvd and Roosevelt

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I grew up in Greenlawn, near the Elementary school.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

7mm sounds adorable tbh and not in a condescending way. Pics?

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

Assuming he's talking about a 7mm Remington magnum, it's a pretty standard rifle cartridge. Comparable to a .308

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Same powder load, much smaller bullet. And alot better round in my opinion.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

How do you feel about the 7mm-08?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've got a 700 BDL(synthetic) and it's a damn cannon and laser melded into one. HeLL of a round, more comparable to a .300 wsm than a .308

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd say more like a 338 but a 308 is a pretty universal round, figured it would be an easy general comparison
