The type 26 was named for the year of its introduction- the 26th year of since the Meiji restoration of Japan. It was a double action only top break weapon, which suffered from a very heavy trigger pull. Country of origin: Japan. Date: 1893. Calibre: 9mm (.35in). Operation: revolver. Weight: .91kg (2lbs).
