The mods can be fickle af. I keep getting warnings and 1-day suspensions just for reposting something I saw here (which wasn't taken down obviously) and/or for pointing out stuff I found ironic or misleading that a certain delusional presidential candidate said in plain English, out loud, in public, during actual speeches, that was somehow okay for said candidate to say but not okay for a private citizen residing in the Land of imGuria to even hint at.

I'm pretty sure the two are already equivocated at every possible moment on this site. There is not distinction made between "people who actually believe in neo-nazi talking points and want to kill or remove other races" (who are EXCEEDINGLY RARE, but this is the internet) and social conservatives who just don't accept the ideas of transgenderism or who argue that gay relationships are sinful. Disagree with them, but distinguish their differences.

Can you provide statistics that back that claim up? I don't think state or federal crime statistics track whether certain violence originates from a group of people espousing progressive or conservative rhetoric. I don't think either political leaning has a monopoly on using violence to make a point, literally just today the same gif of some jackass wearing a dumb nazi "costume" getting punched in the face was reposted and made it to the front page THREE times. BLM also got plenty violent.

1. A mod is not required to to remove a post. If a post gets reported enough it is removed automatically. 2. If a mod IS removing it, it would be because depictions of violence are against the rules of the site. We can all agree knocking a self avowed nazi is a net good, but that doesn't make it immune to the community rules.

Having policies that allow Nazi bots to get such posts removed is still wrong. It's like the analogy of the guy buying a building. He may personally support people in wheelchairs, but if the building was built without a ramp and he doesn't actively rectify this, he's still discriminating against them.

So the only way to have what you want is to require every report to be manually reviewed. Which is... possible, I guess. But even then it's actually at the mods discrimination, which is specifically why people hate reddits moderation. Alternatively, they could really Crack down on bots. But I don't think that's likely because of how many bots hold up this site either by auto-posting from other sites or rage baiting
