The weapon systems operator was the other one missing. They haven’t announced it officially yet, but according to a couple pretty reliable sources, after an extended firefight in the LZ he was also rescued.

There were two on the F15 and one in an A10. All but one of the F15 pilots were recovered by the US. No one knows where the last guy is.

UPDATE: As of about a half hour ago, the White House confirmed his rescue.

It's close air support... For ground operations. It shouldn't even be on tarmac near there afaik
