+1 for Homebrewing! I say give a solid 2 weeks for bottle conditioning, otherwise there might be some 'green' ones.
Thanks, ill "test" after 7 days. Then decide if a longer duration is needed. Luckily ive made this recipe before.

As a brewer myself, how'd you get away with only 2 weeks on a porter? should be 2 in primary, 2 in second, and 1-2 bottling. MIN for porter.
i cheated. used a malt extract. However, todays Hydrometer reading came in at 7.9
Ahhh, gotcha. I got 5 gal IPA and 5 gal Honeyweiss in right now :) hope yours turns out good! (P.S. Go All Grain!!)
