Charcoal pencil and white on Strathmore toned paper, 8x10 or so
Loved that he was performing and writing incredible music the whole way through. I really felt like he understood that it's all about the journey and not the destination. Drawing someone because they passed, it's not something I've done before, but it was a comforting way to spend some time with my own memories of his music and writing, which have been keeping me company for 20+ years now and probably always will. So long and all my best.

After my initial sketch I thought Dylan, then I progressed through Hoffman and into Pacino. If I kept going, who knows.
