My smartwatch, running an onboard model, does better text to speech (with punctuation!) than my $1000 phone. It used to be the gboard suggestions were great, now it almost always offers the wrong form or tense of the word I'm typing, when it even guesses the right word. I regularly have to search spellings now because gboard has no idea.
