FP Edit: I think I'm doing this right.

For those asking in comments:
I was diagnosed with X-linked Childhood Onset Cerebral Adrenoleukodystrophy
Same disease as in Lorenzo's Oil and we shared the same doctors.
It was terminal. I had just watched my brother become a vegetable and eventually die 5 years after my treatment.
My wish was to get slimed at Nickelodeon Studios

I am an aspiring comedian and I joke about it. This is how I cope.

my sister had cancer when she was 9. it was hard watching other children come to the events with the cancer society one year and then (1)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They really are great people. Sent me and the family to Disneyworld when I was 5.

I had a teacher who was divorced with three kids and one of them had brain cancer. His MAW was a family cruise. Beat the cancer. Free cruise

Who needs doctors when you have positive vibes?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i thought you were dead? do you have to pay back the wish because you didn't die?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's one of my stand up routines. I say they invited me back and was forced to work "It's a small word" I'm 5'4". Visual Humor.

personel, honest, and self-deprecating without being self-loathing or mean... solid bit.

Talk about not living up to your end of the deal.

You're a comedian? I've recently written a solid 3 1/2 minutes of stand-up, but I live in the literal middle of nowhere with no comedy clubs

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, some of my material stems from all my medical crap I went through. Been lucky enough to live in cities so I can perform.

You have anything on YouTube?

Here's an old video. haven't recorded myself in a long time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y87VU9hQ8Ko

For the confused people in the comments make a wish grants wishes to kids who have life threatening illness, it doesn't have to be terminal

10 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 1

We're not confused, we're just disappointed when kids don't die.

10 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 2

Mine was terminal. Was a bit disappointed when I found out they wished to life-threatening.

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Why on earth would you be disappointed? Any kid that goes through a life-threatening illness deserves a wish

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

They knew it was terminal because my brother had it and died. Also there was no treatment, I was part of the first experiments for treatment

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

My mum is alive thanks to experimental treatments. I'm glad yours worked for you also.

1. Lucky! & I've a friend who's kid has gotten a dream vacation b/c of make a wish even though his disease isn't terminal, so I'm grateful

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

2. for it. Just because the kid may not die doesn't mean they don't deserve something to escape the everyday horror of pain and hospitals

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

3. And like you said, you didn't even die from it, so how can they determine if something is terminal or not? Better safe than sorry, and do

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

4. something for kids who have a life threatening illness, because they may die, you never know. My friend's son could still die any day.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Did you wish to live?

If so great plan and you're selfish for not sharing it with all the others

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0
