When you have so much wisdom that you get a fifth wisdom tooth

I’ve been having tooth pain and inflammation for two weeks and today I decided to visit my dentist (which is my wife the same time). We believed that it was a typical wisdom tooth extraction, but we found a little surprise :(

Do you see that little fucker hiding behind my wisdom tooth? That’s another wisdom tooth. Dentists call them a fourth molar and they are really rare and very difficult to remove.

The big one is my wisdom tooth and took my wife probably 5 minutes to extract. The small one is the fourth molar and it took about 30 minutes to get it out! Little fucker was a fighter and I got to pay the price. :(

Thankfully, mi wife is very skilled and got to remove the tooth without breaking it and now I have to spent my weekend eating ice cream and painkillers.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to survive my weekend without the Rib Eye steak I was saving. :(
On the bright side, I didn’t have to pay anything because I’m sleeping with the dentist :).

Over the course of your life you might save an hour in brushing time now.

I hear the 5th wisdom tooth is the final chakra to unlock enlightenment.

I had 6 wisdom teeth removed. It destroyed me. Took 2 days to work up to warm broth.

Protip, if you grind the teeth into a powder and mix it into your protein shake you get extra calcium.

My bottom two WT were totally horizontal in my jaw and so under pressure they came out in fragments. Peeled the skin back then tweezer time.

This story would be slightly better if you didn’t say your wife was a dentist!

I didn't see it at first, so it was better for me

At least they didn't pull out your nerve. And that kids is how I ended up paralyzed on the right side of my tongue

Sounds like a story we should hear. Didn’t t know that was a possible complication.

Before oral surgeons extract wisdom teeth, they have you sign a waiver with a small chance to paralyze you

I was at risk for that as well. Fortunately, mine worked out OK

Worked in dental, they didn’t pull out your nerve but it does sound like they knicked it when they got your teeth out which probably means

Your wisdom teeth were impacted, meaning they were surrounded by bone.

My wisdom teeth were not impacted.

Mmm. Did they drill them out?

They were pulled, I believe. They took too much with the bottom right tooth. 12 years later, I have major dysesthesia

Your wife performed surgery on you? That's a big no no. Glad you posted it public along with your Panarex.

I means its only a tooth not like it was heart surgery.

It's not against the rules, but if something goes wrong it affects your personal life.

Idk about you but if I'd just had mouth surgery my first reaction would not be to have sex
