By 9:30 am on a Monday, I’m already to pack it up and go home.
While preparing to load my delivery van, a semi pulled up to pick up a trailer that had been sitting there for weeks. I was asked to move my van so he could hook up. I was inclined to tell him to waitbut I decided to be the nice guy and move for him.
After hooking up the trailer, instead of just driving backwards to leave (There was nothing behind him, and the exit from the parking lot was also behind him), he decided to pull forward. So after moving my van again so that he could pull forward, he hit a Ballard protecting the building with the front of his truck, then complained to the shop manager that it was my fault. He hit the Ballard because I was acting like I didn’t want to move.
It’s not even 10 AM on a Monday and my quota for putting up with dumbasses has already been met for the week.

def not your fault if he hit a fixed object, sounds like he's having a case of the Mondays

The cameras should show that you were willing to move and if you handle this with professionalism no harm should come to you.
