This Kiwi hopes you USonians will elect him to the Senate, and keep electing people like him across the country to beat back the fascism there. The world needs a sane USA at the grownups' table.

I know of Michigan Republicans voting as Democrats in the primary and were choosing Stevens, so they’re afraid!

I voted for him in Primaries. I'll vote for him for Senate too. A government for the people! To hell with the rich!

It's a good thing democrats are willing to stand up against genocide, while republicans still haven't change their views after all this, but this took way too long, everyone could see it was a holocaust at day three of the genocide

Well both the reps and dems didnt want them to win, so theres that , and it makes it even more epic that they won.

They were running ads day and night in Detroit insinuating that Obama endorsed Stevens and that Abdul hated Michelle Obama. Abdul will have no problem combating the vicious smears of his Republican opponent because he's seen them all from the Democrats.

not the landslide referendum on corporate stooges that we hoped for, but it's a great win, especially considering he was outspent 10 to 1. now we see if the shitlibs decide to enable fascism and vote for the republican in november.

A win is a win. Considering that Abdul was outspent 10 to 1, his opponent was endorsed by the governor, Chuck Schumer, and they were telling all of Detroit she was endorsed by Obama, it's impressive that it was neck and neck, let alone that he won. Obama edged out Hillary by a tenth of a percentage in Michigan during the presidential election. He still proved to be the more electable candidate.

There are 100k Jews in Michigan who will either abstain, or vote Republican against him because he doesn’t support Israel. It’s an uphill battle for sure.
