I started with some prototypes, and you guys showed me a lot of love
I made fragrance and color free cleaning chemicals that were stronger and greener than most chemicals in the stores.
My window, dish, all purpose and degreaser.
I started out with these tiny bits of chemical
From left to right, window cleaner, all purpose cleaner and dish detergent. Each one of these is the super concentrate that goes into one 16oz bottle, as shown above. Fragrance free, color free, bullsh*t free.
Ever heard of VOC's? They're volatile organic compoudns, shit that dissolves the ozone layer. Fragrance compounds, EVEN ESSENTIAL OILS, are loaded with VOC's. Don't believe me, google SDS for D-limonene [orange oil]. Environmentally toxic, health hazard, asthma and respiratory sensitivity, etc. 100% VOC.
I worked hard on these, super concentrates, eco friendly and mostly skin safe, with the exception of the degreaser.
My best friend of several years started helping me market and design things. I'm terrible at it, and he's a whiz.
I tested the thing on candle jars
See the dirty dirty boy below. So clean now, so shiny. It will ride eternal, shiny and chrome....*sprays window cleaner all up in diz biz*
soo dirty
Myess, look at that nastimus maximus, candle wax, the enemy. This is the before, the above is after. That little bit of gel posted above can do this. It can also clean windows... provides fingerprint protection, the like. Advanced polymers rock!
I got the packaging designed the way I wanted it in my head
Starter kit being made. I want all the chems attached to the box initially for the starter packs. It looks neat. I want ultimately recyclable brushed aluminum bottles made from post consumer content. Post consumer recycled boxes, and I'm talking with a wonderful woman with a professional packaging company that will help me source and build the most eco-friendly box alive, from the same things egg cartons are made of, RECYCLED NEWSPAPER! My original plan was to have super foldable boxes that you could send back, but this was better for carbon footprint. This is just a tester box I'm setting up now for some bloggers to review for me!
The monthly kit
Essentially an entire month of cleaning chemicals can fit into an envelope. Inside will be a pair of gloves, labels and your packets, ready to go. You can, by this measure, save a dozen or so bottles a year that might otherwise end up in a landfill or starting a plastic colony off the pacific garbage patch.
Also setting up a 6month supply
It will have six to eight dish soaps, and the condensed contents of the monthly supply. So tiny, so compact, so cheap and easy to get to your door! I know it looks so cheezy but I'm having much fun.
The prototype packaging is being developed and designed
Thanks to my friends and all the generous support I've received from fans of last week's endeavor, I've managed to progress enough to get the envelope designed and will be sending out samples this weekend or next week, depending on when the printer sends me the first fifty envelopes.
I've got some limited samples available, as I'm testing the viability of packaging through USPS's hellhole of satan's anus. I'll be sending out samples packaged in the above, but also wrapped in a securely sealed plastic barrier to catch any potential leaks. So, look us up on instagram, like us on facebook or just go about your daily business.
Just because you don't have to live with this.

doesn't mean I want to help it get any bigger.

There's a lot of thought in this! Great job!

@OP Will you ship to the UK when you're all set up?

Keep up the good work. I'd certainly be interested in this once it goes to market. I'm trying to do better about recycling and such.
