Sorry it took so long. Here ya goooooo!
So I'm working one day, and there's this little shit kid running around the whole store. Knocking shit over, messing up folds, being a little twit basically.
And I keep staring daggers at his dad, who is fumbling through lingerie trying to find something for his wife, and I feel kinda bad for the guy. Because 1. He's clueless and 2. He obviously HAD to bring the little shit with him and he's just trying to get in and get out. But it was also kind of annoying because he was old enough to know better; like preteen/young teen.
So then the kid does something he's REALLY not supposed to do, and starts messing with the mannequins. The ones we had at our store were VERY expensive (idfk why) and can break pretty easy if you don't know what you're doing when you handle them.
So he starts messing with the panties on the mannequin, pulling them down and being immature (which I guess is expected because he was probably like 13), when this woman who was shopping nearby kind of does the "AHEM" cough at his dad. Like, "C'mon idiot, your kid is being a douche."
So then the dad just stops and says "It's okay, that's probably the only time he's going to get to touch panties. Let him dream."
And then the kid turned beat red and went and sat in a chair. Didn't move again until they left.
*disclaimer* It was pretty obvious that jokes like that were usual in their relationship, so don't go bein' like "yeah shaming kids is cool" blah blah blah Tumblr blah blah.

Dad's buying lingerie. Of COURSE he's trying to get in and get out... and get in... and out, and in, and out...

TIL, douchebag dads have douchebag sons.

In your situation, I would've probably asked the kid his lingerie size. He'd probably either go quiet or buy something nice for himself :).
Hamspiced
Did you feel better then? I know that would of made me hate the dad less!

My dad said the same thing about me! Jokes on him, I can go into lingerie shops and touch panties any time I want to! Fuck yeah, adulthood!
