Don't do drugs kids

Sierra had surgery yesterday and was stoned out of her mind when we got her home. Obsessed with this blep picture.

High as a kite.

Recovering nicely today, enjoying all the attention she's getting (she's spoiled and I'm just following her around keeping an eye on her instead of putting a cone on her - I have the day off and we usually go to the same places anyway).

Backstory: Sierra came to us as a hospice foster 3.5 years ago. She's a quiet, friendly, sweetheart and was an immediate foster fail (and thankfully she overcame the "hospice" label). Someone had abandoned her when she grew a tumor, which is common in female dogs that are used for breeding (aka not fixed). She was picked up off the streets covered in ticks, fleas, and was under weight. But she's the nicest goof ball you will ever meet and had never heard of the "little dog complex" and isn't yappy at all. My husband and I are obsessed with her and wish we could clone her.
I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford keeping this money pit of a fur baby healthy. If you can, donate to local shelters and rescues, there are so many amazing animals out there that need help! If you're looking for one you can trust I recommend "I Stand With My Pack", they're based out of Los Angeles and I've worked with them for Sierra and they helped me with a dog I found in a cave once (https://imgur.com/gallery/8KpGZib). I can vouch that they're legit and take on TONS of medical rescues (check out their Instagram to see some truly heartbreaking cases they take on).

Tldr; Dogs are great, adopt don't shop!

She’s beautiful and looks like a slightly stoned angel.
