Meta, ABC, and Paramount confirmed paying $56.5 million combined toward Trump’s library per his financial disclosure, but the foundation only reported $50 million in revenue, leaving Warren, Blumenthal and Stansbury calling for answers after noting discrepancies in the president’s financial disclosures. With X’s settlement included, the lawmakers say as much as $14.5 million is unaccounted for based on public records.
• ABC’s payment sat in an escrow account until March 2026, when the IRS recognized the foundation’s tax-exempt status and Trump’s attorneys requested the funds’ release
• The letter questions nearly $7 million in foundation expenditures: $400,000 in officer pay, $490,000 in legal fees, plus travel/conference costs
• The foundation’s filing claims no personnel, including Eric Trump, are compensated, so lawmakers asked who got the $400,000
• The original recipient nonprofit was dissolved by Florida last September for failing to file required paperwork
Neither the White House nor the foundation responded to the outlet’s request for comment.

Even Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States, who full-on committed treason and served as the head of the secessionists in the Civil War, spent something like a year in prison, another under house arrest, then had bail posted, fucked off to Canada and a year after that got a pardon from president Andrew Johnson.
