I had an aussie that lived to 16 years old. Started out like this, but blacker. +1 for fluffballs.

Yeah she was super floofy as a pup. She's 8.5 years old now and she's still got some of that floofness

IME with aussies, when the hips get bad, switching to a wet/dry food mixture and hiding half an asprin or ibuprofen with the food works

(obv, hide a whole ibuprofen, but only half an asprin. ALWAYS with food for digestive reasons)

Congrats, they're the best. I've got 4 and 1 ACD and I just love em. As long as you know what you're getting into you'll be happy!

:D I've had dogs all my life- from labs to pitts, cocker spaniels and westies. I'm excited to give an Aussie a forever home ^_^
