Been rewatching Supernatural from end to end and realized that they could have used a smoke machine (that vaporizes holy water) to clear out buildings.
Hell, modern hunters can even carry around a vape and just cloud the demons away.
Still got a few more seasons to go so it'll probably bug me the entire time (gif related)

I did this too a few years back. I don't recall what season but at some point it was clear the writers felt like they had jumped the shark.

Usually water is not used in smoke machines, I think they use mineral oil or something like that.

I doubt it, and even if possible, we don't know if it'd work. Holy water does - but does holy oil? or holy vape juice?

There are oils used in certain sacraments. I'd imagine it would be less the medium than the blessing.
