Ent Eggs

Found these at the base of a sycamore tree.

Looks like a bunch of eggs, but covered in light bark. The broken (hopefully hatched) eggs are lined with stringy tinder.

These are not sycamore eggs. Note the normal sycamore seed included in this picture. Obviously, these are Ent eggs.

One of the Entwives clearly left these here to bring in a new generation of Ents. If anyone has Treebeard's contact information, please send it my way.
