Things were going amazing, I had even purchased a promise ring for him 2 weeks ago and I was as happy as I had ever been in our relationship. Then he basically said that 3 days ago he realized he no longer had feelings for me and wanted to end it. He didn't want to try to work on it and he was just done. His reasoning was his mind had changed with no cause and he can't change his mind back so why fight it.
I know this is going to be down voted to hell but he was who I went to when I was sad and I just need to tell someone. I am entirely crushed and have no idea what to do.
TLDR: boyfriend of over a year blindsided me with a breakup with no explanation.

For us it was more of a sign of how much I loved him or the other way around. Definitely didn't mean the whole no sex before marriage.
