Pizza is generally better at high heat and most grill are hotter than most ovens. My grill goes to 725f and my oven goes to 500f (though higher than 425 all the smoke alarms go off).
That's not all that new, I've seen barbecue instructions on various items for the last 15-20 years. Frozen pirogi has been the most interesting of them so far.
Had to seal them in foil and flip the pouch every few minutes. Frankly I would say just put a cast iron skillet on the grill and pan fry them while grilling the sausage and veggies to go with them

It also means you don't have to heat up the house in the summer.

That's where my pizza steel recides - I don't like heating my apartment in the summer by turning on the oven.

There was an imgurite who is either unhoused or doesn't have utilities right now who posted recently cooking frozen pizzas over an open fire

What, no nuclear fusion?

They will come in handy during the nuclear winter when conventional ovens and microwaves are a dream of the past.
