Times like this can feel hopeless, but it was good to be a part of a crowd intent on calling "Bullshit" on some world-class bullshitters. Stay safe out there.

...and in the end, they all realized that maybe violence was the only proper response after all.

It's just not enough.

To my fellow non-American Free Worlders, please consider helping the Americans' voices be heard (see post below) as they are clearly having theirs suppressed by US media/social media, for obvious reasons.

Don't worry if you didn't get to this one, people (it was *brutally* cold in most places)! There are upcoming events that you can still participate in (and they don't involve marching):

man, I wish it was so many more.

no news programs are covering this

Of course not. They support the fascist takeover because, for some reason, they think they'll be spared.

Am I the only one who expected a bigger crowd?

Harrisburg is small and far away from everything. This would be a concern if it was Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, but it seems right for Harrisburg.

Harrisburg isn't that big of a city, total population is only 50k and less than 300k for the entire county (which is 525 sq mi).

I'm beginning to think we need another or new way of making protesting impactful: like everybody learning how to shut down the communication grid of corporate media channels, or overwhelming govt networks, etc. Would there be a "virtual" solution, since so many of us are rural or unable to leave work for these events?

Never stop the march. Stay there, and put together a supply chain and armed defense.

Mercer County PA courthouse, deep in red territory. It's a beginning:

Pointless. But I respect the effort in trying

Shhh let people enjoy their futile struggle

Doing nothing is pointless. This is how movements start

I agree in general. My point is walking and holding signs they dont like Elon does nothing. There needs to be a targeted plan to go after a specific violation to make change. Standing outside saying i dont like you will not change anything.

Good on you. You can do it America!

Dems seem to like to protest rather than vote though so its all static.

Here's hoping, friend

It looked like we weren't going to back in 2020... but we did. We kicked @#$%^&! Trump to the curb. And after having tried to steal the election, with the Jan 6th Committee investigation reveals how Trump was really behind it all, then stolen classified documents in the 100's revealed, I thought for sure he'd be in the gutter permanently.

We've not given up. But the outlook is grim. I think it's a 35/65 split on democracy/fascism.

I didn't down vote, but I'd bet if the post was tagged, there would be less down votes.

Every post I've seen complaining about downvotes is political without being tagged as such. I wonder if there is a connection.

Yep, 100% this. Tired of hearing about ‘Murican politics, and how much it keeps slipping through my filters. I miss just seeing memes and funny content on Imgur.

70% of Imgur users are not Muricans, most to the north are posting politics sans tags.
