Everything with him is projection; as he rambles on and on about fraud and interference, that’s exactly what he’s got his flying monkeys doing right now. Hubris and seeking attention means he can’t help letting the cat out of the bag.
He’s already tried it before, twice actually. First was pressure on Mike, second was force by his minions storming the Capitol. Now they’re trying it at a state level instead of on the day.
Like I said time and time again, you all need to come out in tremendous force to vote for Kamala to overwhelm them and prevent them from being able to manipulate the vote. Stop a repeat of 2016 or 2000, vote in such huge numbers they can’t steal it.
The swing states, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan etc, all you people from there must back Kamala to carry her past that 270 mark, we can’t rely on a red state flipping to do that, the scumbags simply won’t allow it again.

I was thinking, there may be a more plausible reason for his words: narcissism. After this vote, you don't need to vote anymore because HE isn't running anymore. If HE isn't running, why would you vote?
Also: Exactly what level would voting be stopped? Is it just the president, or do we stop having elections for house and senate too? What about state level elections? People at the bottom want to move up, so how is that going to work?

The fear is he is going to basically tear up (and probably eat) the constitution and make the country in their new vision which could include installing congresspeople by presidential choice instead of voting. I don’t know what would happen in the states but hopefully they’d rise up with their national guard and other military and take him out before this could happen because it’s definitely illegal what they’re contemplating.

If we just use the 2020 results and pretend that everything will otherwise remain the same, bringing the Dem votes up to 100M (via increased voter turnout - ie. every additional voter votes D), it would be Harris 465, Trump 73, turnout 75.385%. Pretty good, but just getting it up a bit higher to 112M Dem votes would be Harris 505, Trump 33 (just 8 states plus Nebraska-3), 80% turnout. That would be a proper undeniable unassailable crushing. That should be the goal: crush Trumpism.

Hate to be a debbie downer, but we'll be lucky to see even 81M again like for Biden. General turnout is expected to be lower this year. Trump hasn't been President, so left leaners dont have that going for them, cost of living increases have seriously bummed out lots of young/minority/independent folks, and there's just been a shitload more 'both sides are bad' rhetoric floating around(in the real world, not necessarily just on social media).

That said, I do think if we can get 81M, it'll be a win, cuz I think Trump wont get the same 74M he had in 2020. He still has a ton of support, but many independents are tired of him and the felony convictions will turn some more away. They might not vote for Harris/Dems either, but this is also generally part of why turnout is expected to be down overall.

Yeah if all those Democrats in my scenario also voted down ticket it would mean a Democrat House (impeach some Supreme Court justices), a Democrat Senate (actual trials for impeached officials - not that farce that McConnell arranged for Trump), and maybe even a Democrat Senate super majority.

And with all that comes a two year window to pass a federal law allowing abortions, imposing a code of ethics on politicians and judges, a full investigation into Trump's finances while he was president, and a chance to draft constitutional amendments to close all the loopholes that Trump exposed (eg. formalise the impeachment trial process, declare that presidents are not above the law, etc.).

Not if Kamala makes it to 270 electoral votes via swing states. Wisconsin for example has been sorting itself out and is trending in the right direction. States like them, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Nevada will decide this. The disaster would be both coming in under 270 and the decider being some red state, then it’s game over.

No they’re definitely saying even if she gets 270 some states have passed laws and provisions to help the electoral votes she wins go to Trump anyway. They’re installing electors who will defect and refuse to certify. She’s going to need enough electoral points that those states deducting their votes won’t matter. Like 300+.

Well yes they’ll certainly try to interfere with that, to force it to a vote or the courts anyway. It’s about making that harder for them to do. Their plan has levels; get lucky and get a repeat of 2016. Or try a repeat of 2000, have a vote or courts decide it. Or maybe a repeat of Jan 6 (that would be truly desperate though, Biden’s in charge and the NG would be there in no time). It’s about outpacing them.
