Pacific Oyster

Pacific oysters have invaded the coastline of Norway. I like to refer to them as sea landmines due to how sharp their shells are and how much they will mangle your feet. The Lego bricks of the sea!

They are extremely sharp and it's recommended to wear gloves while picking them. Me and my mom has been picking them and throwing them onto land in a hope to make the beaches a bit less dangerous for uncovered feet. They spread like crazy so it's more about management than complete removal.

They will grow on anything, including other oysters of the same species, resulting in massive lumps of oysters with 4-5 shells.
Edible if the water allows it.
