Found a little bit more faith in humanity

Today at the big dam bridge (in little rock Arkansas) during a walk/jog I had the fortune of seeing something kinda wonderful. A lady and her dog went past during one of my many walking phases. Her dog was obviously exhausted, frothing, his back legs quivering etc. he just sat down and then flopped on his side panting. I stopped and she was obviously upset and worried about her puppy (Dallas). I didn't have water with me but I offered to carry him to her car. About then a bike rider stopped and offered his water for Dallas. The dog drank from
our hands and still panted very heavily. By the time the first man rode away three other walkers / riders had stopped to give water for Dallas to drink and to use to pour on him
to cool him off. I ended up carrying the puppy a ways till he was in the shade, but ultimately 8-10 people stopped to
help and maybe a dozen others expressed concern as they passed.

Dallas made his way to the river after he rested a bit, laid in the water and was doing much better thanks to all
of those strangers helping out.

People can be terrible when we have anonymity, when we let our divisions define who we are, but when it comes down to it, politics, religion, money, all falls away when we have something we can all believe in.

Believe in each other.
