Ctrl Paint - Digital Painting
http://www.ctrlpaint.com/
I can't be the only one who wants to learn how to do this! I dated a guy who was a professor and taught this. He tried to teach me a couple things and it blew me away with what you can do via a computer. If you go the video library it has every step by step video you could need to start learning how to do this. Super in depth, super awesome. I only have great things to say about this site!
DrawSpace - Free Drawing Lessons
https://www.drawspace.com/
If the one above this wasn't up your alley and you want a less childish, more in depth, more "professional" way to learn to draw. This is the site. It's easy to navigate and it goes all in.
PluralSight Creative - Design Tutorials
http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/index.php
This is another site I want to freak out about. I am blown away by this site because it breaks down techniques and different softwares. You can go into this site and pick a software you would like to learn and then it can break it down from there. If someone every throws out there a software name I have never heard of that could be related to my field. I creep on it here.
I honestly am at a loss of words for how amazing this site is with it's tutorials. As well as mixing different programs together into their tutorials. So you don't just learn how to do something in Photoshop, you learn how to start something and Photoshop and then bring it over to illustrator to finish it. It's a learn all place.
Alison - Adobe Tutorials
https://alison.com/learn/adobe
I posted this because it offers free adobe tutorials. I am more focusing on the Photoshop ones here. There are two, that are both free. Conducted by Russell Stannard who is super smart and helpful. It's a great refresher or intro to CS6. I don't use After Effect, but there is a course available on it. The courses are 2-4 hours. So if you have the time and want to learn, here they are.
DragoArt - Drawing
http://www.dragoart.com/#
It looks childish. I know. Laugh all you want. If you want some super SUPER basic drawing help, start here. It is semi childish but there are videos and tutorials to help you draw simple and cute things. There are complex things. It's also nice if you don't want to spend all day learning to draw stick figures, trees, and a perfect circle. If you just want to have some fun with it. Stop here.
Art Graphica - Free Art Lessons
http://www.artgraphica.net/
I love to paint, but I am not by any means great at it. This site is awesome for practicing and learning new techniques. Not just painting, but drawing as well. Also you can click on different mediums like water color, charcoal, pen etc and there are multiple tutorials and how to's involving that medium. There is a step by step tutorial on how to paint flowers with pastels, it's on my to do list!
Free Learn - Online Arts and Media Courses
https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/categories/creative-arts-and-media
We are talking actual free courses. That have sign up dates, and can range from a week to two months long per course. They are free though! Free Learn lists miscellaneous courses in the Art and Media field so you can pick what you want. This one requires the dedication, but I didn't want to skip over it. Education and Knowledge is power and when you can get that power for free you might as well share it.
Hack Design - Design Lessons
https://hackdesign.org/
You sign up and they send you a weekly design lesson. It's free of course and it does have some good ones. Typography is not my strong suit and they offer very helpful typography lessons. But it touches on a lot of great design principles. White space, color theory, layouts, mobile and web design etc. If you are currently a designer or pursuing to be one I want to push this site on you. Everyone else, you can skip over this one if you want. I won't push you on it. :)
Cambridge in Colour - Photography
http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/
This has some great photography tutorials and tips. If you are an aspiring photographer or just want some general tips stop here. You'll learn more than you want or need to know. But you'll be better for it.
Paint Draw Paint - Painting and Drawing Tips and Tutorials
http://www.paintdrawpaint.com/
As the name implies this focuses on painting and drawing. The tutorials are easy to follow and the tips are worth the read. It's a very simple site and I don't have too much to say about it. I just think it's another great site if you want to learn some basic painting or drawing skills.
envatotuts+ - Design and Illustration Tutorials
http://design.tutsplus.com/
First off. Some of their courses are free and some are not. Some I would say are totally worth the price, others not so much. That's why it's a safe bet to just stick to the free courses. I've never been disappointed with a course I took, but some I didn't think were worth the cost. I am throwing that out there. But they do have good quality stuff with things you actually want to learn. When I was stumped on a project I've come here and taken a course just to get some inspiration and managed to finish the project with the client pleased.
I hope some of you actually find this helpful like me! I know there are a lot of creative people on imgur, and most of us love when we can learn a skill for free. I'm a designer and I am constantly looking out for sites where I can learn more without spending more. Since I am still paying off school loans and who really wants to go back to school. So enjoy! =D
Edit: Holy crap. I made this at work and then went home. Didn't see much interest in it, then I get to work today and my status is glorious and you people actually liked this stuff. Thank you for blowing my mind this morning. I hope all of you follow through with using these and become majestic and magical artists! I wish you the best!

Just remember that sites and tutorials will do you absolutely zero good if you do not practice!
Alriandi
The owner of Dragoart traces and the tutorials are quite poorly done.

...I'm confused about how Ctrl+Paint is childish and unprofessional?
j4zmon
Only thing I can figure is maybe they changed the order while writing and they meant DragoArt as the childish one.
R0da
Krita is also a nice free painting software.

Btw guys you cant draw with a mouse. Buy a digital pencil and board to draw on. Much easier
LesbiansAwwYiss
never heard someone call a drawing tablet a digital pencil and board xD
shorr
You can, but it's a whole new animal.
Synner1985
I'm too skint and too artistically-disadvantaged to waste money on one of them :P i will learn to draw cartoon me's with a mouse! :P
ZimDaFox
Nothing wrong with using vector art with a mouse :3
Synner1985
I've always assumed you'd need a pen/tablet to be able to do anything like that tbh...
ZimDaFox
I've a couple of friends that do a lot of their painting placing curves with the mouse. You still gotta be able to know what you wanna draw>
ZimDaFox
but, the talent is in the artist, not the tools. Tools make things easier, but you can do art with anything! :D
ibrainzz
*sigh* favorgetted..
