For my cake day, the turtles I hatched over the summer.

Three out of six eggs hatched out. Four eggs seemed viable so they were named after the TMNT, but Michelangelo never hatched.

The original set-up was them hanging out together on a wet paper towel until their yolk sacs were absorbed.

Turtle hatchlings can kill each other though, so they were separated.

They got to swim around for the first time and eat some worms.

Here they are being transported to their original location for release at 1 week old.
