Sometimes being accountable feels like its going to kill you

Saw this scene from Rick and Morty and it immediately hit me in the feels. Rick accidentally created horribly mutated humans called Cronenbergs. (one of many screw ups at the expense of others) As a result, they had to leave that dimension and move to another parallel dimension where everything was normal. Later on during season 2 episode 3 Rick gets reunited with his old flame Unity (her name), and things spark back up again. Long story short, as much as these two loved each other, they were just as bad for each other. Unity realized this and left without nothing but a note that basically described the bad nature of their relationship. As he returns home he has a brief conversation with his family and ends it by saying he will be in the garage... Where this scene picks up (complimented with the song Do You Feel It? By Chaos Chaos). Everything past this point is my interpretation. One thing you have to know is that Rick is a Genius and can fix just about anything. The little creature that looks in agony after it is reanimated is a Cronenberg from the messed up dimension. He froze it in attempts to create a cure. But after the painful heart break, he realized that science cant fix everything. So basically giving up, death looked like the only way to escape the pain... For the both of them. But because he is a drunk, got lucky and passed out before the machine could kill him. Rick is a seriously complex character who usually exhibits lots of confidence. Seeing him break down like this just added even more complexity to his character. Would recommend this show, solid 5/7
