Life is brutiful

I just posted this the other day but today I was reminded of how fitting it is....

I lost a baby at 17 weeks gestation on Oct 4th last year. My youngest was just 15 months at the time. His presence helped me cope in the aftermath.
It was devastating. Being induced to birth a sweet 6 inch tall baby took all day long.

And today, nearly 4 months later, we finally got the autopsy/genetic testing back.
They found that she was a perfect little girl. No genetic issues. All organs as they should be. No pathologies/no possible viruses. Just perfect.
With a hyper-coiled cord, twisted around itself to the point of cutting off circulation, which lead to her death.
Knowing this makes me feel better but also awful. Life is amazing at times. And oh so brutal at others. 1 in 4 pregnancies end before term. I am 1 in 4.
