I was fairly confident that Biden could have succeeded in a second presidential win. I guess the data said otherwise. But in an election year where women's rights are (somehow) up for grabs, Madam VP is an excellent choice.

I honestly think this is a good tactical choice for the Democrats. Republicans spent the last year almost bashing Biden for being too old. One poor debate showing and he's willing to bow out of the race FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY, and meanwhile all the arguments against a too-old candidate will backfire in the republicans faces in the face of trump facing someone twenty years younger than him. Guaranteed there will NOT be a debate, but I would pay to watch it.

I would love to see that debate. At some point, I hope she would mention how DJT and his family support her, regardless of what is or was said during the debate. Then she could reference the $6k donation by Trump in 2016 (I think?) for Cali DA reelection. Ivanka gave $2k, as well. They love her!
