Robots for industrial and military use

Hmm make such robots follow a certain ideology? What could possibly go wrong?!

i do hope i live long enough to see those two jerk-rags bawling in jail. Trump needs to be gone immediately, but those two mediocrities can live to 100 behind bars.

When robots destroy humanity to save it, when they coldly, logically eliminate those holding back humanity from its greatest potential and the chance to evolve beyond barbarism and greed, Eric will be screaming "But I built you!" all the way to the phased plasma rifle test range.

If Eric trump is in charge all they’ll be programmed to do is gather all the cocaine and big boy 50 piece puzzles he likes.

As someone who has used a uscan and seen it get confused by milk, I'm not worried.

I'm not sure that humanity being wiped out by incompetent killing machines so poorly designed they can't differentiate friend from foe, is any better than humanity being wiped out by efficient killing machines that decided everyone was their enemy.

why tho? seems dumb to have human-shaped robots when drone-shaped robots are already dominating the battlefield.

Probably because it looks good on movies, and this is how far they got with their thinking. In theory humanoid shaped robots can do things humans do, but in practice we are still quite far off. Also entirely possible they just buy those Chinese remote controlled robots for quick demos and hope they'll amaze the investors who don't know jack about shit.

But they work in the movies

Because they don't understand war or anything else for that matter.

And/or because the uncanny valley aspect makes it more terrifying, and they care about that more than efficacy?

I think his start up views him as a cash cow, or he doesn't understand combat efficiency
