I don’t know what I’m hoping to get out of posting this. I should be so happy. My baby girl is perfect and I have a wonderful SO and my older kids are great (I know. Cry me a river ?). But I am seriously struggling. I’m just so flat. I don’t feel any emotion. I’ve tried reaching out to friends but i struggle asking for help and feel like I’m being an imposition. When I leave my baby with my SO every single time I come back there’s hysterical tears, so I feel completely trapped. Baby also won’t take a bottle and only contact naps. I’ve been told to “talk to someone” but that’s really not either practical or helpful. I know this will totally lost but if anyone has any realistically practical ideas I’m open

I did not know that Paroxysmal Nocturnal Dyspnea is a consequence of having a child later in life. Take care of yourself @OP

You definitely need a professional here. There are treatments for this, therapies, monitoring, and support groups with other pnd sufferers.

Please reach out to a professional. In many instances, PND is short-lived, but this doesn't sound like what you're describing.

When I first had my son, I was so scared of losing him it took me a while to bond. This is different. Talk to your doctor. It’s harder for

As someone whose partner had PND, my heart goes out to you. I strongly suggest you look into talking to someone, even if it's via vid. call

Get professional help asap. This often gets better on its own but I’ve seen this bad enough that it endangers lives.

PND can be really tough. Talking therapy &/or medication tend to be recommended. Most areas have some kind of support available. You either>
