What I don't get is that there are many Chinese stores that sell the same things that Temu does, AliExpress mainly, but Amazon is full of items that are the same but a little more expensive because they have the brand of a dropshipper, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Why are Americans so obsessed with attacking Temu only?
Everyone's heard about Scamazon. They're also a third party host for these sellers. No one cares because stacks of boxes showing up on the doorstep feels great.
I have never looked at Temu, it seemed scammy as fuck... when I clicked on a link, it wanted me to install their app and I refused (assumed it was malware)...
I mean... it's that too. They sell customer details, and I have a coworker whose credit card details leaked the day after signing up with Temu. So you have exploitation of workers, exploitation of customers, fraudulent use of mail (marking commercial products as "gifts") but hey, it's cheap, so governments just let it slide, I guess.

Fuck temu.

I guess, whatever. Enjoy your cheap useless shit built by child slave labor that'll end up in a landfill in a week.
Dednotsleeping82
Temu uses third party sellers and a lot of them have been accused of using forced uyghur labor.

Wait till you hear about Amazon.

Yep. And the screaming hypocrisy coming from the US is another reason 'Chy-Na' ignores any call of moral superiority or reform from "the West".

You don't get Temu prices without someone being ruthlessly exploited/indentured/enslaved

Plus, being a Chinese company, they're required by law to pass on all information about their customers to the Chinese government. So that's cool
