(For the non-nerds among us, "d6" means the common six-sided die and "d10" the slightly more esoteric ten-sided die. If you don't happen to possess such occult paraphernalia, there are apps for that.)
Want/need to start a game, story, art or whatever such creative project and can't decide what to make it about? Try this! Just roll once on each table and read the results like a genre description in a book cover or video service.
E.g. 3, 4, 10 = historical political thriller; 6, 3, 5 = surreal personal horror; etc.
ALTERNATE METHOD: roll twice on each table, and pick either one or both results depending on what seems feasible and suits your fancy.
E.g. 4, 5; 2, 6; 7, 9 = modern mythical traveling locked-room slice-of-life romance - like, gods confined to a caravan find love in the course of their eternal road trip, or something.

I got surreal political thriller, so basically non fiction

... I got surreal political slice of life. Ours could be about the same politician but from different political party viewpoints.

I got fantasy locked room mystery and feel this image is appropriate for that, too.
