So this is Eggie in a Basket. I had 4 eggs, 4 pieces of bread(2 white, 2 wheat), butter/margarine, and salt and pepper. Enough to make 2 servings.
I cut out the centers of the bread with a knife, I found a shot glass was the best for this, just press it into the bread and twist then pull out the center. I didn't have one though.
I lightly toasted the bread and flipped it over.
Then I cracked the eggs, put a little butter into the holes of the bread and put the eggs into the hole. Added a pinch of salt on the eggs and a healthy dose of pepper. I like my eggs a little runny, if you don't, add them to the holes a little earlier so the bread doesn't burn while the eggs cook through.
I let the eggs and bread cook for a minute or so then flipped it. Cooked it for another minute or so.
Finished product, it's a lot more fun to eat than simple fried eggs on toast.

Good taste is first and foremost what makes food fun, in my opinion.

We always call them egg n cheesers. Same thing, accept when we first put the egg, we stir it with a fork to break the yolk up, and then

Use the fork to spread the egg across the top of the bread. And then cover the top with cheese when it's doen
